Principal's message
Warrior Families,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to La Puente High School! We are proud of our many accomplishments including: being ranked again as one of the Best High Schools in the nation by U.S. News and World Report, recipients of the 2022 Civic Learning Award (The Spirit of Liberty Award: Equity and Inclusion), recipients of the State of California Pivotal Practice Award, and numerous recognitions for our partnership with the community.
Some signature programs include our national champion Cheer & Dance team, an award winning band, the only JROTC program in the district, and CTE Pathways in Robotics & Engineering, Business & Industry, and Law Enforcement which culminates with Dispatching Certification.
We are excited to announce that C-STEM, Art History, Music Appreciation, and various other electives have been added to our course selections and will be open to all students this school year.
The staff and students at LPHS are proud to carry on the traditions of our school and the City of La Puente. Here, we adhere to the words of John F. Kennedy as "we celebrate the past to awaken the future"!
Respectfully,
Dr. Lisa Lopez
Proud Principal
